We have to help each other not bring each other down

About Me:

Hello,

My name is Cathy Hall and I am the owner of Palmetto Peace of Mind, LLC. I am a Licensed Master Social Worker located in Greenville, South Carolina. I have had a rewarding career for more than 15 years. Throughout my career I have worked with The Department of Disability and Special Needs Board, The Department of Juvenile Justice, The Department of Social Services, Greenville Probate Court, and two school districts in the upstate. These roles have given me the opportunity to gain the leadership qualities needed to be independent as well as provided me with the unique opportunity of building support service programs within my community.

In 2024, I formally launched Palmetto Peace of Mind, LLC with the purpose of serving our most vulnerable populations. The experience I brought into this company is invaluable. I take pride in working with the community to identify needs and modify my approach and modalities to meet those needs. My goal is to meet people where they are and provide them with services that improve their quality of life. I enjoy working alongside other providers to ensure that this happens consistently across the state.

If I can be of support to your or your clients please do not hesitate to reach out to me.

Anger Managment

What is it?

This 12-week course works to help individuals identify and understand anger as a misaligned emotion. We work to learn about charged emotions such as fear, shame and stress and how they can manifest as anger. The goal of this course is not to focus on the situation that occurred but instead focus on the unhealthy response to that situation.

Individuals learn skills that they can use to cope with anger. They learn about the possible reasons behind their anger and are given support to start processing and understanding their anger. If they need deeper individualized treatment to continue this process, they will receive a referral for therapeutic services.
